Monica Casarin Ledezma, PA-C, is a bilingual Physician Assistant with a passion for surgical and vascular medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2025, following her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Memphis. During her clinical training at UAB, Monica gained extensive experience in vascular surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, and other specialties. She was drawn to vascular surgery because of its multidisciplinary approach and the opportunity to care for complex and vulnerable patient populations. As a Spanish-speaking provider, she is especially excited to care for Spanish-speaking patients and their families and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of medicine, Monica enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and staying active through Pilates, yoga, working out, and playing volleyball. She also loves spending time with her dog, Tito, as well as her family and friends.
